Time appears in date field on Add/Edit page

I am using the setup in the picture below. After you select the date from the datepicker the date AND the time appear in the field. Only the date is getting stored in the MySQL database. How can I eliminate the time from appearing in the field?

I have phprunner 6.1 build 12082. Is there a newer one?

I'm not able to reproduce the error. It works fine for me. The build 12082 doesn't exist.
