Is there a simple cause fix for this as it is causing me big problems in my layout. I at first thought this was a blip on a particular build but have had it again on another DB-table.
What happens:
Create table etc and then select what views and pages I want using the tick boxes.
Pages display - great. Everything works 100% - I have made some mods to all pages no problem.
Later customer wants a new section - it will have a date field and some info on it ( I cant get this far )
So...Next I add a new field to the table ( date/time in this case )
I enable it as edit /add etc.
My current pages all have tabs on them.
I create a new tab and put this new field in the new tab - I do the same for edit and add.
All is well, I leave and go to edit the page - it allows this on leaving and going back it errors saying page does not exist. When I go back the tab, it is there but when it opens it shows the main edit page not the tab.Page reset does nothing - because of the following..
I then discovered - on its own it has disabled the edit tick box for edit.
I re-enable it - all good , leave the page - its done it again - disabled the tickbox. I have had to put this new field on 1 of the tabs already created to get round it and have been unable to fix it.
Deleting the custom view completely and starting again fixed it before on another database, but this is a lot of work and this time its the main view.
I have had this exact scenario on another database so it is not this database.
Another strange thing I noticed is it often has a red warning regarding an earlier crash do I want to restore. The date provided is weeks ago??? I save it with a new date everyday for backups after changing it, so why it is doing this as well I have no clue, it could be related?
Hope you can help and have a patch or something.. Great software, I love it even as a newbie.
I cant be the only 1 who has experienced this issue.
