This is my experience upgrading a project from phprunner 5.2 to 6.0
We are a small electric utility in Azusa calif using phprunner to keep track of things like poles, transformers, capacitors...
Phprunner 6.0 Build 10638, using built in web server.
- Built a project from scratch, worked ok
- Added security, in the "User Group Permissions" dialog box I set up an "admin" & "user" groups.
in the Advanced security settings I checked the "add login as guest" checkbox. seem to work as I expected.
- Went back to edit mode in phprunner, in the "User Group Permissions" dialog box in the "default" section I unchecked the check boxes for all the tables. When I ran the project the menu.php did not show any tables when logging as admin or user, only the guest login worked showing the tables as I expected them.
Observation: it seemed to me that if I define the "admin" & "user" groups the only change I expect is that if I later define another group all the check boxes would be unchecked. I would not expect my project to run any different.
Also I logged in as guest, the user Id & password were empty but still logged in last user, seems repeatable.
Just thought I'd mention it.
