Copy and paste code from MS Access

I can copy the SQL code from a MS Access query into PHPRunner 6.0 and the results appear to be just fine.
But when I select the Query Designer it is disabled and I get this message: "PHPRunner was unable to parse your SQL query. Designer tab is not available."
Is there a way to use the code from MS Access and restore the functionality of the Query Designer?
There are a handful of posts on the subject in the Forum but no solution or definitive answer.

There is no "one answer fits all" magic that can help.
Contact support directly sending your database and SQL Query in question. We'll see what we can do.
