 Export vs Export Results

I have an advanced search on my list page, but the Export reads Export Results. When I click Export Results it shows the List screen again instead of the export option screen. On another list screen for a second table it shows Export without the word Results and the resulting screen is the export option screen. Why the difference?

I know this is marked as solved but didn't see a reply. I was wondering the same thing, the Export Results button at top seems to work differently than the Export Selected. Export Selected brings up the export to dialog with the list of options but Export Results just brings up a new list of the same data (no export options?)
