hi. so far i like how this program has enabled a beginner user such as myself the ability to quickly add interactive database function for my users.
in that sense, i'd buy this program. BUT my major problem right now is how difficult it seems to customize the them/layout/design etc. i want to make my sites look completely different graphically, layout etc. not just change colors and move around a couple functions.
for example. when i use the editor for the login.php screen, it's so limiting. i created a 3x3 table and tried to move the entire login block using copy/paste from where it was to a new area of the table and it caused all kinds of problems in terms of messing up the look. it lost all format. i don't just mean the copied part...but the original did too. then when i just try to delete the original...i can't. the undo function is horrible.
so anyways, to wrap this up, im wondering if there are any good tips for design. creating websites graphically in a way that you could easily with dreamweaver?
it seems that dreamweaver is missing the easy method of manipulating databases as this program does so very well...but then it seems this program is lacking in every other way.
i know dreamweaver can do what this program does, but in a more complicated way...it would take a longer learning curve. but im wondering now if this program just can't do what dreamweaver can in terms of over all design.
hoping someone can clarify for me. need to make a choice which way to go ....asap. i just feel this program is an infant in the industry and priced like a top tier utility, unless im missing something big.

/ps i called customer support a few days ago, and got a machine. no reply back either. i'm desperately looking for $400 worth of value.
also it kinda drives me up the wall to see admin telling proplr asking questions ehre to submit a ticket and deal with it privately because support forums make it possible for people like me to get work done. if i need to submit a ticket everytime i have an issue and wait for them... i'll never get anything done lol
