Special / foreign characters in Autofill or dependent lookup

Hello,
ASPR 7 / 9917.

I have fields which are defined as autofill (or dependent lookups).

If the source Field (or the category control / category field) contains special caracters, the wanted values is not appearing and the field stays blank.

With special characters I mean for example é è à as used in french oder ä ö ü as used in german.
The same applcation worked fine with ASPR 6.3.
Any idea what causes this problem?

Hm...
