Tool Tip for Readonly field

In Add Page, I have few field which are Readonly. But, I would like to display tooltip when user brings mouse over the readonly field. That tooltip will explain user what this field contains?
I noticed that tooltips only displays for an editable field. Is this possible to display it for Read only field as well?
Please advice.

Thanks prochecksports. I have gone through the post that you have mentioned. As per that post also, there is no solution for providing tool tips to readonly fields, as this is by design.. But, I do'nt understand why it has been designed in such a way? At least, there must be some workaround. it is good idea to provide "?" icon next to field level and when user clicks/hover on "?" icon, then a tool tip should display with the message that can describe user about that field.
I suggest that same should be considered in next version of release.
