Drop down menu too small in search panel

Hi all,
I have a problem with the size of the drop down menus in the search panel. They are not not wide enough and one cannot fully see the choices (text is cut of).
The preferred behaivior would be like the drop down menus in the main window, the size of the drop down menu automatically becomes wider when selected. How can I do the same in the search panel. I didn't do anything for it in the main window.
Sorry for posting this question if it has already been answered, but I could not find the answer in the forum.

The URL is not accessible from the outside. Do you neee me to clarify the problem further? Please let me know.

I've upload the files to the demo account. there was an error message at the end, but I guess the zip file was uploaded. It reached step 4.

The upload process is not working with proxy, it ends with an error. Without it says incorrect password, which I have double checked.
I will need to try and upload from another network.
