Create a copy of a custom view

Hope to see a copy paste function for custom views. We use a lot of databases wich are almost identical. We need to create views of the same table from that database but with diferent functions. A custom view we already have in a template we use is a perfect starting point due to te fact that all the fields are in the correct order, vissible on the right pages (edit, view etc.), the right translation for custom labels. Would be a real time saver.
