How do I get rid of "Web Reports"?

I have the Edition of PHPRunner which enables Web Reports and Charts. Nice.
However, I cannot get "Web Reports" to stop appearing as a Tab and link when users log in.
The visual editor is not a good place to try to take care of this in the individual user log in menus. I could remove the text in the tab but I want to get rid of the whole tab so that "Web Report" disapears completely.
This does not show up as a Page, not as a Custom view. Once I installed the Charts and Web Reports modules they insist on creating pages for themselves.
I can't get rid of them with permissions either.
When I WANT them I will notify them they are needed but not NOW for this project.
Clues, answers?
