Timestamp record update & Prevent 2 people from accessing record?

I read a topic under tips but I could not get either of them to work, maybe I am not putting them in the correct spot or something else needs editing. I kept getting 500 errors when i would add the changes in the other post, any help would be appreciated <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=question&id=16087&image=1&table=forumtopics' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

I am looking to have it notify the user via display that there is someone already editing the entry. Also have it timeout if someone sits idle too long in the entry.

Record locking is a builtin feature in ASPRunnerPro 6.2 and higher. I would suggest to get one of the latest versions.

Thanks, the issue is the newer versions seem to run 6-8 seconds slower when loading pages, I am unsure why.

you can post your application to Demo Account and open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending your Demo Account URL. 'Demo Account' button can be found on the last screen in the program. We'll see what we can do.
