Dependent dropdown boxes don't work in IE6

Dependent dropdown boxes don't work in Internet Explorer 6.0 under winXP SP3.

I have 4 dependent dropdown boxes and only the first one is populated.

Everything works fine in Chrome 8.0

I develop and test locally using WAMP.

The current market share of IE 6 is less then 5% and in a strong decline. Should not be more than 2-3% by the end of the year.
