Can images be assigned via event script to record background in vertic

I have an ASP page that displays records in the layout of a press sheet. On the page, which is in Vertical Layout mode, I have 10 records across and 11 records down. This is to simulate the way Cards would be placed on a Printer's Press Sheet. We assign the card id to each record and this helps us create a Page Map of where each different card is going to be placed on the press sheet. What I would like to be able to do is during the event "After Record Process" is have an image of the card placed in the background of the record. I have tried the following post but it does not add the image to the background (http://www.asprunner.com/forums/topic/15354-record-background-image/pagehlbackgroundfromsearch1). Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Basically you showed me how to place an image in the background of a record row in the Horizontal Layout here: http://www.asprunner.com/forums/topic/15354-record-background-image/pagehlBackground%20imagefromsearch1

Each Record represents a Baseball Card that is going to be printed on the press sheet. I would like to place an image(based on the data in the record set) in the background of the record Cell.
I already know how to pick the image based on the data but getting the image to show up is where I am having issues.
I would love to be able to have just the image show up( which by default when there is not any info listed in the record would be a blank image, but if there has been an assignment made there would be an image of the actual card) and if you click the image it would then bring up the pop-up edit record window instead of having the edit icon or edit text for the link to the edit window.

I guess I see what you mean.
In vertical mode record occupies multiple rows which means setting a row background won't help. Probably you can try to set the background of the whole record HTML table.
If you have a current support contract post your application to Demo Account and open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending your Demo Account URL. 'Demo Account' button can be found on the last screen in the program.
