I would like to setup user groups like student, teacher, admin. When I go to add groups i'm prompted to select a user id like Mary or Tom. How do I create groups and assign users to groups?

Hi,
PHPRunner uses only one login/password for one user group.

You can't assign users to group however you can give them the same login/password within one user group.

The User group feature would be of great value to me as well. I have been struggling with how I want to handle this issue in our app. I really need to know who each user is, so having all sales people login as SALES, or all those from the graphics dept. as GRAPHICS, etc. is not particulary attractive to me. However, having to regenerate the code each time we add a new staff member is far less attractive. We'll have sales and support staff in 11 field offices within the next year, and 50+ employees most of whom will need some level of access to CRMS.
Is this featue being considered for a future release? What would it take to get you to consider it? How soon can I expect it? <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=4936&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Roy,
we'll add this feature. You definitely can expect it before the end of year 2005.

Thank you! I look forward to it. Sooner would be better! <img src='https://asprunner.com/forums/file.php?topicimage=1&fieldname=reply&id=4961&image=1&table=forumreplies' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> Of course I'm sure everyone who requests a new feature says that.
Thanks again for an awesome product,

Roy
