Search/Advanced Search

Hi,
check some fields for a quick search and all fields for the Advanced search page (on the Choose fields tab)

The main search box still searches ALL the fields ticked from 'search'
The quick search seems to be a sidebar/floating box which shows the selected fields as search boxes, not as one single search box.
I'd like the main single search box to search a limited set of fields, but all fields to show on adv. search.

I think I've sorted it now. I've generated the project with limited fields, then again with all fields and copied over the new templates.

Ah well... maybe not.
The page looks right, but it doesn't search the extra fields just returns all rows from the database.

Ok, a different question.
Can I replace the advanced search page with the quick search page? I can then specify which fields I'd like to search as advanced searches?

Just having a look at Beta 6.3 and you've done some work on searching and search fields choices, but the default search box always uses the advanced search options. It would be nice to limit the search box to say the simple search options or one of the reduced search options, if they wish to search more fields then use the advanced search option.
