Yes. I fully agree... have you found a work around since you posted this? I am also trying to figure this out!!! I would even settle for simply being able to use the "insert button" feature that lets you run javascript commands on client, then server, then after client to set some fields by looking up data on server... more specifically do all that on the ADD pages and not just edit/view/lists pages!!! |

I would be very interested in this too, it took me quite a few hours to settle for the suboptimal button and java script solution where i just query the db and get the value i need based on 3 values on a form influencing the value of a list in another dropdown |
