Hi Guys,
I posed this question June last year. Thought I'd resubmit incase of advancements or proposed advancements may assist me in fullfilling requirements..
My client is seeking enhancements to their existing ASPRunner 6.0 application. I plan to upgrade then to the latest ASPRUnner before tackling these enhancements.
Specifically they are hoping I can provide the following enhancement so that individual users can have their own configuration including:

  • each user being able to choose the initial tab shown after loggin in
  • each user being able to nominate the default number of rows shown on tabs
  • each user being able to nominate the default sort order for each tab
  • each user being able to hide / show 1 or more columns in each tab
Response last June was that I'd need to setup new tables to store user preferences and of course a bunch of event rules.
This may still be the case but I'd be interested to see if anyone has tackled this.

I guess that answer is still valid. You need a table to store user preferences and a bunch of events to implement those rules.
