Bug Report - PHPR 5.2b - Quick search with charts

Got another funny one for you here
One of the tables in my test database have over 1.5 mill records. Using Ajax with that table just kills the server, so I switch off Ajax on the "Misc" page.
In the normal table view page this is ok and all functionality is there (except for Ajax).
However, when you switch off Ajax in a chart, quick search stop working. You cannot add fields or set options.
The error message shown by IE is:
