Users Can see and Edit Thier Own Data Only

Hi,
Hope everyone will have a great Holiday and Merry Christmas to everyone.
I need help. I have a table that hold information for about 6 Teams. Each team have agents that add record and also access record in that table, i used the advanced security setting and now the agents Can see and Edit Thier Own Data Only and i set up the team lead as Admin so they can see all the agents. My only issue is the other Team leads can see other's agent in another team, i am not sure how i can prevent them from seeing other teams but only their team.
Help will be appreciated

Hi,
I recommend you to create custom view for team leads, then set up Can see and Edit Thier Own Data Only security method for this view, but select another field as OwnerID (lead ID for example).

LK You can also link the tables to a TEAM_NAME in the user record

  1. Add a Team_Name column to the USERS table and to every table
  2. IN the security tab link Team_name from each table to Team_name in the Users Table
    Now the See your Own Data will be that only people with the same TEAM name will be able to see their data for that Team
