conditional menu ASPR 6.1

hello,

I need to do the same exact thing here:

but I think it's not possible with ASPR 6.1 as I cannot edit menu block in HTML mode... any other way to do this?

Hi,
unfortunately there is no easy way to show or hide menu items in the ASPRunnerPro 5.1.

You need to edit generated files for this purpose.

is it possible to use something like
SESSION("UserRights")("<table name>") = ""
to hide the menu items?

I use STATIC permissions, this code works only with dynamic permissions
this way I could deny permission to a specific table to a user after login, so the menu item would disappear

an other solution could be to have different menu colors, but I need to set the colors dependent from a session variable, is this possible?
in the next version of ASPR will it be possible to have a conditional menu?

Unfortunately there is no easy way to show/hide menu items or change font color in the ASPRunnerPro 6.1. You need to edit generated files for this purpose.

We plan to add this feature in one of the next versions.
