Date edit format cannot work

I was using Access database. One of the fields is type of date/time named by Chinese characters.
In the step 8 of 12: Formatting, I chose that field with 'Edit as Date', changing Edit format with one of the seven date options.
But none of them appear properly on the asp page.
Does anyone have any idea?
