mysql connection error

hello,

I try to select a remote mysl ODBC connection, I have 5.1 connector installed.

in the connector window I fill my DB info and I get the dropdown menu correctly filled with DB names, if I click test connection I get success.

then I click OK and I get an error message saying unable to connect to DB
I notice the server name in the message is truncated mine is "mysqlb5.webcontrolcenter.com" and in the message it says "mysqlb5.webcontro", I don't know if this is the problem or not.
how can I connect to my mysql?

Hi,
try to use MySQL ODBC driver 3.51:

http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/odbc/3.51.html
If it doesn't help open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending a detailed description of this problem.

no success, I already tried it but with version 3.51 I can't connect do mysql5 DB
ADDED: I don't have problems connecting with the same DB with ASPRunner 6.0, the problem is with ASPR 6.1
