Vista Problems with ASPRunner 6.1

Hi
I have upgraded to ASPRunner 6.1 after a year or so away from the programme.
Have to install it on a Dell Inspiron Notebook running Vista Home Premium Edition and IIS 7.
Installed, started a project and Built the application.
Clicked on 'View in Browser' and received a message about running as administrator.
Shut down ASP Runner Pro 6.1 and ran as administrator. 'View in Browser' worked perfectly.
Took a break and came back a while later (didn't switch on my broadband router, so no internet connection).
Ran ASP Runner 6.1 as administrator but now 'View in Browser' gives the following error -
'An error occurred on the server when processing the URL. Please contact the system administrator.

If you are the system administrator please click here to find out more about this error.'
IIS working OK. I use FrontPage 2003 and site created in 'Localhost' work fine.
Is there something to change?

  1. Internet Options (IIS Manager):
    uncheck "Show friendly HTTP error message" check box
  2. IIS Settings:
    cscript %systemdrive%\inetpub\adminiscripts\adsutil.vbs set w3svc/AspScriptErrorSentToBrowser true (to allow error message send to client)

  • check back with results
