I just made a new list from a view. I edited the view and when I uploaded the new stuff I get this error on the page when I "Show All".
What does it mean and how do I fix it?

Hi,
this error means that you've changed page on the Visual Editor tab and removed some tags ({END record_controls}).

Ty to reset page on the Visual Editor tab and rebuild your project.

From my point of view there could be another reason too. In some cases it seems that pages are not transfered correctly by using the ftp upload function. I get this error message from time to time after reuploading my project. To solve the problem you can use the following workaround:

  • copy the source-code of the respective page in the html mode of the visual editor.
  • open the page on the server with an editor of your choice (for example dreamweaver)
  • replace the sourcecode.
    This will work in most cases.
    @Jane: Do you have any idea why the files are not being transfered correctly in some cases??

please open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com and send screenshot of Upload to FTP server dialog and list of uploaded files from the log on this dialog for investigation.
