This is about the "Advanced Security Settings"
There are 3 options :

  • Users can see and edit other users data
  • Users can see and edit their data only
  • Users can see othe users data; can edit their data only

If i choose the second otion, is it posible to disable the EDIT feature for logged user?
For example in our project, a student can only his exam result and will not able to edit.

Why? It would be extremely useful for students to be able to edit their exam results :-)

Hi,
just uncheck corresponding option on the Choose pages tab.

Hi SRJ,
Yes, You need to select the "Pages" tab in the main phprunner menu, select the table from the list on the left and make sure the "Edit Record" and "Inline Edit" boxes are unchecked. After rebuilding the project, the edit links will not be shown in that tables pages.
Regards,

Vince
