Column Width Help

I have done several searches and can't finding where there is a solution out there.

Does anyone know of a simple way to resize columns? everything just re-adjusts itself all over the place when you try and stretch a column out.

The columns seem to base themselves on the width of the Field Name, so my column called SSN is way too short for 123-45-6789 and it "wraps" around.

Please don't suggest I change my field name to something longer. I have tons of custom code referencing this field.
I have also tried doing it within the HTML code page but no luck there either. I love this product, but I wish there were some very simple basic templates without all the pretty formatting and "tables within tables".
Thanks all!

Hi, Have you tried adjusting the label in the field settings page? This means you would keep your fieldname.

thank you Pete,
That is what I have had to end up doing. I do still really wish there was an easier way to modify tables with this software.

Unfortunately there is no other way to fix this other than making field label longer. Even if you set column width in HTML code web browser will shrink it to fit more text on the page.
Btw, intelligent browsers (Firefox) do not wrap text with dashes.

Hi

I seem to be having sort of the same issue. On my "add" page I have one column with just text, that no matter what I do I cannot go beyond 50 characters in width before a carriage return. This column does not have any user input, it just displays whatever I added in the "choose field page". Is there a way I can adjust this?

thanks again

staddeo,
I recommend to post your application to Demo Account (use 'Demo Account' button on the last screen in program). Then open a ticket at http://support.xlinesoft.com sending your Demo Account URL for investigation.
