LOGIN FIELD AUTO POPULATE

When I add a new record, I would like to fill in the field that I use as the LOGIN field instead of auto-populating or even after auto-populating but before I save/return to list. ADMIN is the only one that adds and would like to be able to put in the other users login.

Hi,
I suppose you use User can see and edit their own records only security method for this table.

In this case you need to create custom view on the Datasource tables tab for admin only, choose User can see and edit all records security method and set up permissions for this view for admin only.

Hi Jane,
I did this and it worked except that I can't get all the queries to accept my admin rights. I have gone back and checked everything and can't tell why but some of the queries uncheck when I save the rights?? Any ideas?

Thank you Jane - my query names were too long. When I shortened them, it works okay.
Another question in regard to this though please: I am referring to the strTableName in a snippet and it shows the query name. Is there a way to show the underlying table name?

By "underlying table" I mean the table the query is based on. It's okay - I have done something different.
