I am using 5.0 and I am wondering if there is a way to have the header and footer show up in the visual editor. Right now we just see the yellow tags for header and footer.
My header and Footer have several graphic that are so wide and I need to maintain that. I have to keep uploading changes I make in the visual editor to try to fit the page to the header and footer.

But if the header and would just display in the visual header, you could easily edit what you need on the page to make it look right.
Is there a way to make it show up? Other than putting all the header code in the lheader.php file?

Kim,
Unfortunately there is no such feature in the PHPRunner.

We'll add it to our suggestion list.

Isn't this a already a feature included in the nenew release of PHPR 5.1 beta?

PPRunner 5.1 beta is expected to be available on February 15th. There is a possibility ASPRunnerPro 6.1 beta will be available at the same time however safe bet is February 22th.

.....

Visual Editor improvements

Choose and edit header/footer files right in Visual Editor

Jane, Is the plan still to release the latest PHPR release in Feb09? Many thanks (I can't wait to see all the new features)

Yes, in the new PHPRunner 5.1 you can choose header file from Visual Editor tab, but header will be just yellow box control on the Visual Editor tab.
We plan to release PHPRunner 5.1 beta in a week.
