Having been a PHPR user for several years, I've decided to give ASPR a try.
I have an application connecting to a AS400 DB2 database. This works OK, but the performance is awful.
I've checked the ODBC connector speed on the same machine, and it works well with our AQT Tools software. The box will query a large table and return results in less than 8 seconds with AQT.
ASPR apps... even the main menu, can take 10-20 seconds to load.
I'm a IIS newbie, and perhaps I've set something up incorrectly on the server. It's running Windows Server 2003 with dual 1.266 Pentium processors and 2.5G memory. Nothing is utilized over 10 percent.
If there any ASPR users out there who have experienced similar issues and can help me, I'd appreciate it!!!
