one version for the fornt page

Hello,
How can you create a one version for the front page users?

There is a difference between the administrator and the front end user.

If I add password control the front end user (site visitors) will have to login?

For the front page users i do not want to show the "edit" and "add". They should only be able to view and search.
Any suggestion?

Use "User group permissions" to assign a different set of permissions to admin and regular users.
