Calendar Template general questions

Hello,
I'm using a calendar template and in the monthly view, if I click on the event and bring up the "Edit Event" form,

the Delete button doesn't do anything. The progress bar on the bottom of the screen quickly appears but the event is not removed from the calendar.

Everything else (like the save button) works fine.
I went to the calendar demo on the phprunner site and the delete button works fine.

I also noticed that the demo layout of the "add new event" form is a bit different then what i have for phprunner, but i figured

that the demo is made with ASPRunner instead (if that makes any difference).
Thanks

Vince

Update:
If I go to the Daily view of the event, that event can be deleted by checking the box and clicking "delete".

so that works fine

Vince,
It's difficult to tell you what's happening without seeing actual files.

Could you tell me if this problem was resolved? I am seeing the exact same behavior.

Hi Mark,
Actually it was not, But I totally recreated the entire project from ground up for other reasons and everything was fine.
Must have been some glitch when the first one was created and unfortunately it happened to you too.

Sorry I cant be of more help to you but I worked on it for a whole day and never figured it out.

I'm guessing you can open the html editor on the page and re-establish or recreate the link to the button.
Good Luck!

Well I did not check there. Lo and behold, after setting the event to canceled, deleting the event works. Thanks ssitter.
One still wonders why deleting an event has to be so convoluted. It should not be one double click to open edit, followed by moving the cursor to the Apple menu and a pull-down, followed by another one, followed by the delete key. Any chance that could be improved or fixed? Any developers?
