Searching problem

My database table has varchar and money fields. When we do any searches we get the following error. I need the ability to search either by description or money if possible. I'm using the demo and it's about expired, so I need to see if this can be resolved before we purchase it. Other than that this is an awsome kick ass program!

Error 2147217900: Implicit conversion from data type money to varchar is not allowed. Use the CONVERT function to run this query.
