Can not connect to SQL server

OK, I can connect to the server using Navicat, MySQL Front 2.5, etc.
But not with PHPRunner. It looks wonderful. I want to try it out!
The only thing I can think is that it doesn't like the usernames. They are formated as such: dbm.domain.com.
So a sample that I would use you be: (Fictious, but uses same syntax)

Host: sql.mysqlserver.com

User: dbm.mydomain.com

Pass: qw34er
Can not connect.

If I use the same settings in AppGini, or Navicat, etc it works, so I know my host allows outside connections.
Any ideas?
